The Premise

When the sun dips behind the crooked hills, a quiet guardian steps out from the thatched cottage at the forest edge. Wrapped in an oversized woolen cloak and carrying a copper pole, the Lantern Keeper walks the perimeter of the ancient woods, lighting iron lanterns suspended from old oak branches.

Authored by A. P. Wolf, The Lantern Keeper is a gentle fairy-tale picture book designed for children and families. It tells the story of a small keeper who befriends night creatures, guides lost travelers safely home, and proves that nighttime is full of quiet wonder rather than fear.
