HORROR FICTIONSOME DOORS SHOULD STAY CLOSED.

The first sign is rarely dramatic. A chair is facing the wrong direction. A light is on upstairs. Something knocks once from inside a wall. Horror begins when the ordinary world changes by one small degree - and you are the only person who seems to have noticed.

THE FIRST CLUE

THE STORY GETS STRANGER FROM HERE.

The best horror does not need to chase you. It lets you come closer. It leaves evidence. A photograph that should not exist. A room with no entrance. A voice using a name nobody living should know. By the time the explanation becomes necessary, explanation is usually the least reassuring thing left.

What stays with us is rarely the monster itself. It is the moment before it was confirmed - the instant when there was still enough uncertainty to hope you were wrong.

Nothing from Wolfesque has surfaced here yet. That does not mean nothing is there.

ONE LAST THING

NOT EVERYTHING HAS BEEN FOUND.

If you hear something after leaving this page, give it a moment before deciding where it came from.
